From March 27 to 31, the Department invites sit-ski enthusiasts to Auron to enjoy the thrills and sensations of tandem skiing!
As part of its sports policy, the Department has implemented several measures to promote participation among people with disabilities.
An activity organized by the Departmental Committee for Handisport of the Alpes-Maritimes and conducted in partnership with the SEM des cimes du Mercantour.
Since 2015, the Department has been inviting all ski and outdoor enthusiasts to Auron for five days, where it has gathered all the tandem skis it has, to allow institutes, specialized associations, and individuals to discover this activity.
Since 2001, the Department’s mountain and ski program has enabled people with disabilities to enjoy this sport under optimal conditions of safety and comfort.
