Starting from June, the Handivoile 06 summer tour, a summer event conducive to escape, discovery, and sharing, opens for the 10th consecutive year to all people with disabilities and their families, allowing them to participate for free in sailing and kayaking activities on the accessible beaches and nautical clubs of the department.
Since 2006, 3,109 people with a disability, accompanied by their families, have benefited from these free outings during the summer.
More broadly, and through the implementation of the Handi Voile 06 initiative, of which this summer tour is a part, the Alpes-Maritimes Department aims to promote the integration, rehabilitation, and personal development of people with disabilities through the practice of nautical activities.

They are mandatory and limited to 4 people per family. The public can download the individual registration form on the reservation site or fill it out in person.
