Summary evening of a mandate that Laurent Lackhar wanted to emphasize as committed to the Enterprise, with a reminder of the most significant actions. In his speech handing over power, the synthesis was expressed through the slogan “the enterprise at the heart of the economy.”
The new President, Yvon Grosso, took care to mention his commitment of nearly 30 years in the employer associative sector and to underline an ideal continuity between the past and the future: “to know where we want to go, we must know where we come from.”
A human resources man, he asserted his participative approach and choice to work collaboratively with his future team, the appointed board, and commissions among which there are some innovations in this mandate: Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility; International, Mediterranean, Europe; Sport; and finally, Cinema, Culture, Art, and Sponsorship.
The new organization also provides for 5 Vice Presidents delegated to the various Economic Basins of the department (West, Central West, Central East, East, Upper Country) to thus promote proximity with businesses.
The Assembly also approved the 2009 financial report (turnover of 830,000 euros) and the proposed one for 2010 (amounting to 935,000 euros), both showing a slight positive result.

The next major event will be on June 2 in Cannes, at the Palais du Festival, with the attendance of the national MEDEF President, Madame Laurence Parisot. On this occasion, Yvon Grosso will unveil his mandate program, which was simply outlined during the 2010 General Assembly.
