Harley du Cœur and the Mediterranean Center for High Energy Proton Therapy: When big-hearted bikers work hand in hand with healthcare teams for children weakened by illness.

Latest News

Last Friday, the Harley du Cœur were thanked by the Mediterranean Center for High Energy in Nice for the actions they carried out throughout 2017, hand in hand with the doctors and care teams of the Antoine Lacassagne Center, to provide childcare equipment for equipping their reception house “Consolata,” new toys for the children, as well as school supplies.

Indeed, it is a true collaboration, as the Harley du Cœur are attentive to the needs of the center, and this for the second year already. This day was also an opportunity to make an exceptional delivery of toys to the children present, notably to Gaétan, 13 years old, who received a drone and a board game, and little Amine, 20 months old, who hugged stuffed animals and construction toys.

Present at this handover were Mr. Joel Guigay, General Director of the Antoine Lacassagne Center, Mr. Claude Abejan, Founding President of the Harley du Cœur, Ms. Maty Diouf and Ms. Andrée Alziari Negre representing Mr. Christian Estrosi, mayor of Nice, and Mr. Eric Ciotti representing Mr. Charles Ange Ginesy.

Joining them were the volunteers from the Harley du Cœur and their friends, the Wingers Safe and Free, as well as some of the association’s partners, notably the Villeneuve Loubet Festival Committee represented by Ms. Marie-Pierre Ferrucci-Feigenspan on behalf of President David Nisi, the famous Toques Brûlées with David Faure, his wife, and two of his accomplices, Doctors Pierre-Yves Bondiau and Jérôme Doyen, oncologists at the center, along with the care teams.
