After the large collection of new toys organized on July 3rd in the gardens of Cimiez in Nice, during the grand charitable picnic organized by Harley du Coeur and Les Toques Brรปlรฉes “1 toy=1 lunch,” the distribution took place at the Archet II hospital.
A warm atmosphere, children all smiles, almost shy from being so spoiled. “This event allows them to step out of the context of illness,” says Dr. Cozzi, head of the department.
A service full of bikers, dressed in leather jackets, wanted to share, even for just a moment, a moment of happiness with the “little ones,” who don’t always have an easy life.
Beyond a festive moment, it’s also about sharing and indulgence, with some pancakes prepared by the chefs of Les Toques Brรปlรฉes.
But this event is not its first trial run as it has already been organized for the third time. “Every year, people ask us when the toy donations will take place,” explains Angรฉlique, the event organizer.
Partnerships were also formed with the help of Carrefour Lingostiรจre, which didn’t hesitate for more than 3 minutes before setting up a theme “in the style of a popular relief effort, which consisted of allowing the customers to choose to donate,” says Philippe Delubac, a representative of the brand, before continuing, “it’s also an opportunity to meet giants with big hearts.”
