The major summer rendezvous for motorcyclists from all walks of life for the famous blessing of the motorcycles and their riders is scheduled for Sunday, August 16, starting at 9:00 AM in front of the Théâtre de Verdure in Nice, with a departure at 9:30 AM.
Heading towards the famous Madone d’Utelle, in the hinterland, where each year a convoy of more than 600 motorcycles makes its way for the grand mass of enthusiasts who wouldn’t miss this event for anything. The secured convoy will be escorted by the police up to the city limits of Nice, then by the Blue Knights all the way to the Madone d’Utelle. Enjoyment guaranteed with this magnificent ride.
Organized for the 16th consecutive year by the Harley du Coeur, this gathering promises more surprises this year, with not only the blessing of the motorcycles and motorcyclists but also entirely free activities: biker games, a concert with the band Lone Redneck and its iconic singer Rick, country dancing and lessons, etc. And as for food, of course, the famous pan-bagnats from the ladies of the heart, and the equally famous sandwiches and fries from Papy Jeannot! You can also visit the stalls and indulge in the traditional Niçoise socca prepared in front of you, and the delicious homemade crepes whose recipe remains a secret kept by the kind-hearted bikers!
Claude Abejan, the founder and President of the Harley du Coeur, tells us, “It’s a wonderful day to share together at an altitude of over 1,000 meters in an exceptional and preserved setting, where each year we welcome friends, as over the years this rendezvous has also become one of friends, whether they are from the Nice region, anywhere else in France, or often from Italy or beyond. All motorcycles are welcome, as always with the Harley du Coeur.”
The stage is set, and the kind-hearted bikers are expecting many of you on Sunday starting at 9:00 AM on the forecourt of the Théâtre de Verdure in Nice for this great gathering. For the bravest, and for those who want to celebrate the day before, Claude Abejan adds, “They can join us at the Madone d’Utelle from Saturday, August 15, in the afternoon. Bring a sleeping bag and a tent to sleep, as the Harley du Coeur will offer them breakfast on Sunday morning!”
Once again, lively atmosphere guaranteed!!!
