Hatem Ben Arfa chooses PSG and the Champions League

Latest News

It was in the air, and as they say in these cases, after the thunder comes the rain: Hatem Ben Arfa leaves OGC Nice for PSG, it’s official!

Free of any contract, the international forward from Nice has just signed with PSG. He has committed for two seasons, announced the Parisian club this Friday: “Paris SG is pleased to announce the signing of Hatem Ben Arfa’s contract until June 30, 2018,” stated the club on its Twitter account early in the afternoon.

In the evening, it was the player’s turn to express himself with a letter to “warmly thank [the club] for the fantastic year I spent there.”

He continued, “I also have a very personal thought for the former coach, Claude Puel, without whom we would never have achieved such a season,” and who was the foundation for the revival of a player who seemed lost and who regained his full sporting value.

Can we venture to think that if Claude Puel had stayed at Nice, Hatem Ben Arfa would still be wearing the red-and-black jersey?

A simple hypothesis as the page is definitively turned: “I wish OGC NICE a very successful journey for the 2016/2017 season and particularly in the Europa League.”

As for HBA, he will play in the league of the greatest, the Champions League!
