To celebrate the Year of School Sports, the Committees of Alpes-Maritimes and Var of the League Against Cancer and the Regional Committee of the National Union of School Sports will sign a regional partnership agreement to combine their efforts in health prevention.
They will jointly conduct prevention and health education initiatives targeting young middle and high school students in the Alpes-Maritimes and Var regions and offer a joint stand, “I Take My Health Into My Own Hands,” during major sporting events organized by the UNSS.
The festivities will begin at 2 PM with relay races. The signing of the partnership agreement will take place at 3:30 PM on the Promenade des Anglais, UNSS Village, in the presence of Professor Maurice SCHNEIDER, President of the League Against Cancer 06, Mrs. Janine BELLOT, President of the League Against Cancer 83, Mr. Serge MORISOT, Regional Committee Director of UNSS, and Mr. Gilles VEISSIERE, Deputy Mayor in charge of sports for the City of Nice.
