It’s official, starting this Monday, customers will no longer be the only ones required to present proof of vaccination or a negative test. The health pass becomes mandatory for all employees in contact with the public in restaurants, bars, cultural and leisure centers, and shopping centers.
Only seven days of leniency before employers become strict in checking QR codes. The government spokesperson, Gabriel Attal, assured yesterday morning that there would be “a week of educational flexibility and trial” to give employees time to obtain proof of full vaccination or a negative test.
After this period, if a staff member of the establishment shows up without a health certificate at their workplace, they will be automatically suspended. The government spokesperson also added that not checking health passes in establishments would result in “a warning, a formal notice, and potentially an administrative closure.”
