Program of the Marc Chagall Museum in Nice
Current exhibition: “Under the Sky”-Jérémy Griffaud. The painter Jérémy Griffaud created nearly 300 drawings, watercolors, which echo Chagall’s works. A selection is presented in the exhibition “Under the Sky” at the Chagall Museum from October 12 to January 20, 2025. The artist also offers an amazing installation: an immersive animation on the theme of biodiversity and the hybridization of living things.
As part of the OVNi festival, the artist will present a virtual reality version of “Under the Sky” from October 30 to November 1 at the Windsor Hotel. Also to discover: The Garden, an immersive projection exhibition in the Lazaret Cave from November 15 to January 31, 2025. Through this device, Jérémy Griffaud presents his hybrid realities.
Upcoming exhibition: In the Light of Saint-Paul-de-Vence. From February 8 to May 5, 2025, discover the ultimate production of Marc Chagall, including lithographs given by his official lithographer. You will find the recurring themes of the artist, such as the self-portrait, the circus, the couple, the Bible.
Chagall and the Mosaic. From May 24 to September 22, 2025, a cycle dedicated to Chagall’s technique will take place, featuring archival documents of his major projects, models of his works. Note that the artist has contributed to reviving interest in mosaics after the Second World War.
Chagall. The Vence years. A Mediterranean Renaissance. To discover at the Vence Museum – Emile Hugues Foundation from June 14 to November 2, 2025. The South influenced the artist, his lines became freer, more colorful… and he experimented more with techniques!
What to Expect at the Fernand Léger Museum in Biot
Throughout this year, the program of this museum located near Nice highlights the creativity that animated Léger.
Current exhibition: The Transport of Forces. A monumental painting. A state commission intended to cover the Palais de la Découverte, to be admired until the end of 2025.
Léger and the New Realisms. A partnership with MAMAC. Until November 18, this exhibition demonstrates the dialogue between the works of Chagall and those of Niki de Saint Phalle, Yves Klein, among others.
Upcoming exhibition: Léger, Painter of Color. From December 14, you will understand how the artist values color and light—vital elements—you will find them in every work.
Karina Bisch, The Head in the Decor. Simultaneously, the museum will host an exhibition dedicated to Karina Bisch from April 5 to November 10, 2025. Her work questions form as a dynamic structure. Her references include the works of Matisse, Léger, Picasso.
Exhibition Guide of the National Pablo Picasso Museum in Vallauris
Online Visit: War and Peace. Since April, the museum has been fully digitized. 3D views, 360° photos, you can enter an immersive guided journey into the atmosphere of the chapel; allowing you, anywhere, to experience this artistic journey.
Upcoming exhibition: Pascale Marthine Tayou. From June 21 to October 13, 2025, you can visit this art related to the theme of commitment. The artist, drawing inspiration from his African origins, works on the decolonization of South Africa, bringing life to so-called “poor” materials.
