This upcoming Saturday, April 12th, the botanical garden is preparing to host the traditional plant exchange starting at 8:30 AM: a great moment of exchange between enthusiasts and amateurs in a friendly atmosphere!
A place for strolling and discovery, this municipal park created in 1983 is located on a hillside: it offers a remarkable view over the Var estuary with a vast panorama from the Alps to the Estérel.
From 11 AM, children are invited to a repotting workshop, and starting at 2 PM, all visitors can enjoy a free guided tour of the garden and admire the 3,000 species showcased over 3 hectares.
On the path of discovery… Journey around the world and the senses.
The visit begins with a presentation of the garden and its history, then continues with a discovery of different plants of the Mediterranean climate, through a journey around the world (Morocco, California, Middle East, Australia) and the senses. By taking the small paths, gardeners will introduce you to the flora of Australia, South Africa, Mexico, Greece, Cyprus, and even the Canary Islands. You will also be able to admire the national collections of sages and agaves.
Stroll among the stands, ask questions, listen to fascinating anecdotes, and receive explanations about the different uses of medicinal and culinary plants. Visitors will be invited to smell or touch particular leaves or flowers. A must-see!
