The opening ceremony of the Carnival has begun, which will animate the life of the city for two weeks.
The King of Animals begins his reign in a wonderful, festive, and colorful atmosphere, with thousands of people from Nice present to cheer His Majesty.
The opening parade consisted of three carnival floats: King, Queen, and Carnivalon, three Battle of Flowers floats: Queen, Méfi, Buzzing, a surprise float, large heads, not to mention the local associations from the city’s neighborhoods and the flag bearers, musical troops, dancers, foreign guests… all the actors of the Carnival were gathered to present themselves to the public!
Approximately 1,400 people work on the event which is expected to attract nearly 85,000 spectators.
