For the 6th year, the heritage and memory of sports are the focus of conferences featuring researchers and speakers from the academic world, professionals, and former athletes.
After two days of debate in Marseille, the 2016 capital of sports… the “caravan” moves to Nice for a third day, with the main theme focusing on the impact of the media.
Iconic places will host the event: the faculty of sports sciences and the National Museum of Sport.

Since 2011, these meetings aim to bring together social science researchers, heritage professionals, regional sports community stakeholders (athletes, coaches, managers, supporters, journalists), and elected officials to discuss the forms and meanings of the heritage process in sports.
