The Tercier Plateau? This place is certainly not unknown to real estate developers who are fond of sumptuous land. Indeed, with its 360° panorama, offering an unobstructed view depending on its location on the sea, the forest, or even the Trophy of Augustus, the Tercier Plateau is enticing.
Besides its exceptional view, this site is full of historical and natural riches due to its fauna and flora. These treasures will be presented to you during a conference at 11:00 am on the Tercier Plateau on Saturday, September 20th.
But the Tercier Plateau? Where is it? And yes, if developers know where this site is, others, whether residents or not of Drap, do not locate this place at all. The Tercier Plateau is located at an altitude of 500 meters from Drap, about 15 km from Nice. It is the highest point of this site. To help you discover it, the Drap Festivities Committee invites you to explore it, and maybe you will be seduced!
On the agenda for this day
From 8:00 am departing from Drap Village Primary School, a free hike led by a guide will begin. The route will lead to the village square, then the Drap canal will be traversed in its entirety, with a brief stop at Château Vieux to fill up a water bottle before heading to the Vallon des Morts, the Vallon de la Massourde, and finally reaching the Tercier Plateau: in total approximately 9 km of walking.

Upon arrival, refreshments await you along with stalls of local products.
If you cannot take this path on foot, shuttles will be made available for any visitor from the Drap Village Primary School starting at 10:00 am.
At 12:00 pm, a country cocktail will be offered, enhanced by the folk dances of the Parpaïola!!
Then, you can enjoy the site by picnicking on the grass in the shade of a pine or in full sun!
In the afternoon, various activities will be offered for children: themed games, treasure hunts…
Nature lovers can wander on its “tercier” lands, while others can listen to music presented by the Music Emotion association.
In short, a blend of happiness infused with thyme, rosemary, lavender, and pine will be found at this summit. A return to the past.
On Saturday, September 20th, Drap will revive the Tercier Plateau, a prophetic thought once expressed by Pierre Cauvin, the former mayor of Drap.
