For this 31st edition of the European Heritage Days, under the theme of “Cultural Heritage, Natural Heritage,” the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes will open the doors of the Palace of the Sardinian Kings to the public.

According to Eric Ciotti, President of the General Council, “This year’s theme allows us to highlight, in addition to the cultural richness of the Alpes-Maritimes, its exceptional natural environment.
The fifteen departmental natural parks are invaluable testaments. They will be presented by the services of the General Council responsible for the conservation, restoration, and enhancement of the heritage.
Within the prestigious Palace of the Sardinian Kings, the public will be able to discover their missions, visit the General Council’s meeting room, but also and above all, explore all the facets of our departmentโs history through numerous activities.*
