This Thursday, December 8, 2011, at 3 PM at the Nice Stadium Construction Site, the first five sponsors of this operation will meet their sponsored individuals: Didier Digard, Rénato Civelli, and Kafoumba Coulibaly (Football – OGC Nice), Christine Schoenn (wheelchair tennis champion), and Carl Blasco (Triathlete).
Bringing people in professional integration closer to the world of sports and business within the framework of the Insertion Clauses
Benefiting from sponsorship, as part of a professional integration approach, allows easier access to the world of work and employment, thanks to the experience and relational network of the sponsor. Moreover, sponsorship is a vector of social connection.
The Animation Cell of the Insertion Clauses of the PLIE (Local Plan for Integration and Employment) of the Nice Côte d’Azur Urban Community and the Vinci Construction France group are setting up sports sponsorships within the framework of the Nice Stadium construction site and a convention established with the Union for the Enterprise 06.
Vinci has committed to a minimum of 92,000 insertion hours over the 2-year duration of the construction, which is approximately 58 full-time jobs across 26 occupations.
From December 2011 until the end of the Nice Stadium construction, 20 high-level sports sponsors will each support three or four individuals in insertion. They will impart values of self-improvement, the importance of team spirit, the pleasure of accomplished work, and fulfilled missions: here, the construction of a structuring sports facility, which will be a reference at all levels, an urban multifunctional stadium, a model edifice that is exemplary in sustainable development and demonstrates strong social and economic ambitions.
This initial contact will be a moment of convivial exchange for all concerned individuals.
Later, other actions will be conducted as part of this operation by the Animation Cell of the Insertion Clauses: the sponsored individuals will visit the workplace and training sites of the athletes, and tournaments will be organized to strengthen bonds between all the actors of this ambitious project.
