The Nice team got off to a bad start in this match as Briançon was leading 2-0 after the first period, thanks to Thomas Carminati and Samuel Zahradnik. It was in the second period that Stan Sutor’s men woke up.
Emil Bagin, Julius Valtonen, and then Ondrej Kopta allowed the Eagles to take the lead on the scoreboard, even though everything was still possible in this encounter.
