Last game of the regular season. Nice faced Gap, attempting to secure its playoff qualification against Gap (5-2). Unfortunately, Mulhouse, positioned one place above in the standings, also clinched a win.

A few days after having recently defeated the leading team from Grenoble, the Eagles pulled off another feat by dominating the 3rd place team in the Ligue Magnus, Gap (5-2).

With Nice wanting to grab that 8th spot and Gap trying to maintain its 3rd place, the first period was keenly contested and ended with a balanced score of 2-2.

However, with its determination and desire to participate in the playoffs, Nice doubled down on their effort and won the match 5 goals to 2.

Unfortunately, Mulhouse also won its match (after overtime) and surpassed Nice on goal difference.

Nice, finishing 9th at the end of the regular season, will miss the playoffs and instead will have to play to maintain its position in the Ligue Magnus at the end of the season.
