Hockey: Nice Falls Again at Home

Latest News

At the end of a match rich in goals and twists, Chamonix wins 6-5 in Nice. The Pioneers thus take a three-point lead over the Eagles and climb to 6th place.

Returning from Anglet where they had achieved a great feat, the Niรงois failed to impose themselves against a team they had beaten during the first leg in Chamonix.

The Savoyards never needed to come from behind (2-2 in the first period), then maintained parity in the second period before breaking away in the third period, taking a triple advantage (5-2), allowing them to manage the return of Stan Sutor’s players. The Eagles ultimately fell by a score of 5-6.

The scorers for Nice were Pertilla (two goals), Rajamaki, Hampl, and Drtina.

This Tuesday, the Eagles will return to their rink to host Anglet, who will come to Jean-Bouin seeking revenge a week after losing to the Eagles (8-5, on November 30th).
