In facing the in-form team of the moment (the Gothics had just beaten Rouen!), Nice delivered a complete performance that, unfortunately, was not enough to secure victory, even though it did manage to spice up the rankings with the bonus point.
Yet, the match started well (Nice took a 2-1 lead in the first period), with Amiens leveling it in the second period (3-3), while neither team scored in the third period.
In overtime, Amiens, after drawing level three times, scored the winning goal and won a match, oh how contrasted (40 shots to 33 for Amiens).
