The Nice hockey players came very close to achieving a feat this Friday in Grenoble.
Despite trailing 3-0 after a poor second period, the Eagles eventually forced an overtime after an intense third period.
The game was undecided and ended in a shootout. It was ultimately the league leader who had the final say after a nail-biting session.
With this defeat, the Nice team remains stuck in 10th place in the standings, and qualification for the playoffs is starting to slip away.
