For their third season in the Ligue Magnus, the Eagles hope to take a step forward and establish themselves in the elite of French hockey. This will begin with a first victory on the ice in Chamonix.
Nearly six months after their last match of the 2017-2018 season, the Nice Eagles return to the ice this Friday in Chamonix. It’s an opportunity to introduce those who will wear the Eagles’ colors this season.
THE TEAM
The Eagles saw several players leave at the end of the season: Jordan Draper, Tomas Andres, Vladimir Kubus, Matej Hamrak, Lou Bogdanoff, Arthur Montenoise, and Daniel Babka Jr, Louis Belisle, Emil Bagin, Brett Switzer, Vojtech Zadrazil, and Jan Walter have left the club.
As for new arrivals, the Eagles have strengthened their team with both young and more experienced players: Frรฉderic Bergeron, Yoanne Lacheny, Florian Sabatier, Ervins Mustukovs, Louis Petit, Roni Viirlas, Juha Tarkkanen, Tuukka Rajamaki, Miroslav Macejko, Marek Drtina, Matej Palocko, Matus Matis, and finally Juuso Perttilรค have joined the Nice ranks.
The staff, consisting of the duo Stanislav Sutor / Pascal Margerit, has also been renewed with the arrivals of Stanislas Aubert and Tanguy Alliet, as a physical trainer and equipment manager, respectively.
THE SCHEDULE
After the first match tonight in Chamonix, the Eagles will host Strasbourg on Tuesday evening at the Jean Bouin ice rink for their first home game.
The regular season will end at the end of February, followed by the playoffs until the end of March.
