A judicial investigation was opened Thursday for “public insults due to sexual orientation” following the interruption of the L1 Nice-Marseille match due to homophobic chants, according to the Nice public prosecutor. The investigation has been entrusted to the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Security.
The match of the third day of L1 Nice-Marseille was interrupted for twelve minutes at the Allianz Riviera on Wednesday evening.
