On Friday, February 1st, Christian Estrosi will gather the mayors of the high country communes in Roquebillière around the theme of mountain housing.
He will present the main actions that will be implemented in this area in 2013 by the Metropolis.
The President of the Metropolis will especially discuss the stakes of modifying the Local Housing Program 2010-2015, which needs to be altered to include the high country communes. His presentation will rely on the assessment conducted by the Agency for Transport and Development of the Alpes-Maritimes (ADAAM).
Christian Estrosi will also touch on the topic of seasonal workers’ housing in ski resorts and tourist communes.
Improving the housing conditions of seasonal workers contributes to the economic vitality of tourist communes and promotes job creation. A study will soon be launched by the Metropolis services to establish a detailed status on this subject. Actions will then be implemented.
The team appointed by the Metropolis will explain to the mayors the organization details of this study and its implementation schedule.
