Christian Estrosi inaugurated the exhibition TOWARDS NEW SOCIAL HOUSING, designed and organized by the Citรฉ de lโarchitecture & du patrimoine, which will run until March 29 at the Forum of Urbanism and Architecture.
This exhibition highlights innovation in social housing through sixteen projects and works selected across the national territory, including in the Alpes-Maritimes.
A complementary perspective is also offered on the production of social housing in Nice through five representative projects in this city with such a specific urban context.
Yes, but this exhibition also allows the municipal opposition to express its opinion on the matter. And not without irony…
“Social housing in Nice… but, in photos!” says Paul Cuturello, socialist municipal councilor and traditional opponent of Dominique Estrosi-Sassone, the deputy in charge of this sector.
“The mayor of Nice is inaugurating today an exhibition (coming from Paris…) titled ‘Towards new social housing’. In the absence of building any over six years, he has only increased the rate of social housing by 0.79%. The 10,000 residents of Nice waiting for social housing, some for almost 10 years, can therefore admire them in photos! They will certainly appreciate this unintentional humor at its true value.”
