At the Villa Arson, during the opening of the exhibition “Tuer le soleil contre moi” by the 2019 graduating class of the Ecole nationale supérieure d’art, the Young Contemporary Creation Awards ceremony was held by the City of Nice and the Venet Foundation.
Created in 2009 on the initiative of the City of Nice and the Venet Foundation, the Young Creation Awards distinguish two young artists among the graduates of the Villa Arson.
The Young Contemporary Creation Awards were presented to Hugo Bench by Gérard Baudoux, Deputy Mayor of Nice in charge of Modern and Contemporary Art, and to Amentia Siard Brochard by Alexandre Quoi, representing the Venet Foundation.
The works of Hugo Bench and Amentia Siard can be seen in the exhibition “Tuer le soleil contre moi” from June 30 to September 22.
