“I walk, you see,” from Nice to Toulon via Bastia.

This exceptional event “I walk, you see” will be organized with the official support of the city of Nice, Toulon, Ajaccio, the National Education, the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committees, the Directorate General for Youth and Sports, municipalities, and territorial communities.

The Lions Clubs Cรดte d’Azur Corse will welcome all children aged 8 to 14 for a solidarity march in the following cities:

Nice on April 1st at the Promenade des Anglais from 9 am to 5 pm

Toulon on April 1st at the Mourillon Beach – Anse 3 from 9 am to 5 pm

Ajaccio on March 31st at Place Miot from 2 pm to 5 pm

These three events will:

– Inform the public about preventable blindness
– Raise awareness among national and regional media about preventable blindness
– Raise funds: children aged 8 to 14 will ask their parents, neighbors, friends for donations promises linked to the number of kilometers they will be able to walk in the three cities (Nice, Toulon, Ajaccio). The distances covered by the children will symbolize the donation promises (N euros per kilometer walked by the child, as chosen by the donor).

Thousands of children are expected in the three cities for this fantastic day of solidarity. All these marches will be supported by schools, sports clubs, Lions Clubs, elite athletes, elected officials, journalists, and regional personalities from all fields.
