An exceptional event on the French Riviera organized by Nice Côte d’Azur Skating.
This ice ballet competition will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2009, from 5 PM to 11 PM in Nice, at the Jean Bouin Sports Palace near Acropolis and the Exhibition Palace.
Building on the experience of previous years, Nice Côte d’Azur Skating is organizing this event which will feature teams from Russia, Spain, Australia, Switzerland, and France, competing in the Open, Young Hopefuls, Hopeful, and Elite categories. Over 350 skaters will compete.
A modern version of group figure skating, ice ballet comes even closer to being a spectacle as each roughly six-minute program is performed according to a chosen theme, with skaters in costumes who may perform either solo or as a group. Moreover, this competition, blending dance and athletic performance, is the only one of its kind organized in our region.

6:00 PM → 11:00 PM: Competition.
