The Nice Eagles are kicking off a new season! This Saturday, September 14th at 7:15 PM, the Nice Eagles will host the Mont Blanc Avalanche for this first match of the season.
5 months off for the Eagles, 5 months with many changes within the NHCA. Stan Sutor and Pascal Margerit have recruited no less than 10 new players during this offseason!
The team has changed, but so have the facilities! The City of Nice has invested in new railings, with windows all around the rink to prepare for a possible promotion to the Ligue Magnus.
The Azurรฉens got back to training on August 21st, with a strong emphasis on physical preparation thanks to the arrival of Fabien Benoit, the new
conditioning coach for the Eagles.
Only one friendly match was played, against Gap (Ligue Magnus) on August 31st, where the Eagles surprised everyone by losing in a shootout (7-6).
A strong supporter turnout is expected to shake the stands of the Jean Bouin rink!
