The Slovak center Vladimir Kubus (26 years old, 1.81m, 85 kg) has signed with Nice for the 2013/2014 season.
Trained at Proprad, Vladimir played two seasons in the Extraliga (2006-2008) with his training club before moving abroad the following year to Deuil-Garges, in Division 1. He played a total of 18 games for the Entente and was credited with 14 goals (top scorer of his team) and 5 assists.
After that season, he returned to Slovakia, to HC Presov (2nd Slovak tier), where he has been playing since 2009.
Vladimir was the 6th top scorer of his championship this season. After these two excellent seasons (85 games for 48 goals and 36 assists), the Slovak right-hander arrives in Nice at the peak of his career.
