Canadian defenseman Kévin BERGIN has signed with Nice for the upcoming season! At 32 years old, Kévin will bring a wealth of experience to the Eagles’ defense.
The future number 25 of the Eagles spent 3 seasons with Amiens (Ligue Magnus). During these 3 seasons, Kévin accumulated 98 points (41 goals and 57 assists) over 118 games played!
This is therefore a significant reinforcement for the Nice squad!
Stan Sutor, coach of the Eagles: “Kévin has an interesting player background, he has experienced a high level, he played in the Canadian and English leagues and even had a stint in Ligue Magnus. We are counting on him to share his experience with the young players. Moreover, with Pascal Margerit, we were looking to add more physicality, and his build (187 cm, 91 kg) matched our search.”
His experience will indeed be shared, as Kévin will also be involved in training the Eagles. He will manage the U18, U15, and NHCA sports studies categories.
