The Eagles of Nice defeated the Corsaires of Dunkirk with a score of 5-1 in front of more than 1,000 spectators! The Nice Hockey Cรดte dโAzur also celebrated its 10th anniversary during this match. The players from the 2003/2004 season were present and were not disappointed by the match they attended.
It was Michal Kapicka who opened the scoring in the 6th minute, followed by Andrej Brejka in the 8th minute. The Corsaires of Dunkirk finally responded by scoring a goal, but the Nice team didn’t let them equalize, and it was Martin Slovak who scored another goal one second before the end of the first period.
In the second period, the Eagles predominantly dominated the match, but it was during the third period that Kevin Hamon and Michal Kapicka scored to achieve a final score of 5-1.
After this victory, the Eagles are 6th in the D1 standings, tied with Mulhouse (5th). They are only 3 points away from second place.
