The Eagles of Nice are traveling to Annecy this Saturday, January 18 at 8:30 PM, as part of the 20th day of the French D1 championship. With last Saturday’s defeat against Neuilly, the Eagles have dropped to 8th place in the standings.
For now, nothing alarming, but the Niçois cannot afford any more mistakes if they want to secure a spot in the playoffs.
Annecy, currently 12th in the championship, is fighting to stay in the league and will do everything to earn the 2 points from a victory.
Therefore, a completely different approach and solidarity will be needed to hope to taste victory again. The Eagles haven’t won an away match since November 30!
In the “away” match, the Niçois had won the game with a score of 5-1.
Karri Koivu and Jozef Slaninak will still be absent.
