The Eagles triumphed over Reims with a score of 4-1 last night. With the 2 points from the victory, the Eagles are now in 6th place in the league and have qualified for the Play-offs!

It was the last regular season game at Jean Bouin, and once again, the crowd turned out for this 25th day of the French D1 championship!
The Eagles struggled to find the back of the net last night. Dominant, Milan Varga’s team stumbled for a long time against Reims’ second goalkeeper, Celestin, who put on an outstanding performance. It wasn’t until midway through the match that the Reims net shook, thanks to Anthony Courcelles.
The Eagles’ goalkeeper, Lukas Skrecko, kept the Eagles in the game with some top-class saves! At the end of the 2nd period, Karri Koivu found the top corner and scored the second Nice goal of the evening.
In the 3rd period, the suspense remained high. At 56:30, Andrej Brejka beat Celestin and gave the Nice team some breathing room! In the final seconds, Reims pulled their goalie and went all out, but Vladimir Kubus managed to obtain the puck and score the 4th goal in the empty net.
