After a challenging part of the season, the Eagles need to start from scratch to get back on track in the championship. Saturday’s performance in Brest shows improvement, but now they need to maintain it for 60 minutes.
Starting today, the Eagles’ technical staff is expanding to better prepare for the end of the season for Sylvain ROY’s squad.
Firstly, Nice’s coach, Stan Sutor, will be joined by Pascal MARGERIT. The former Eagles forward hung up his skates after winning the French D2 championship title. Pascal then took on the role of Nice’s coach for the 2008-2009 season before moving to Lyon to coach the first team for three seasons.
Next, Olivier DUMAS will take the position of physical trainer. Olivier will have the significant task of physically preparing the players for the end of the season, especially the final phases.
Stan Sutor: “For a few games now, we haven’t been physically present at the end of matches. Olivier will help us get the players back in shape. We have 2 months to prepare for the playoffs; it’s the right time to give a physical boost.”
