The Nice Eagles are traveling this weekend to Courbevoie for the 8th day of the French Division 1 Championship. The Courbevoie Roosters managed to beat Brest last Saturday with a resounding 6-2 score. Ranked 9th overall, the Roosters can be formidable at home.
The Eagles, on the other hand, are also on a good run. Apart from a single slip-up in Dunkirk, Stan Sutor’s men have been stringing together victories. However, the Azurian team has had a peculiar week.
Indeed, due to a figure skating competition, the Eagles have not had any training at the Jean Bouin ice rink for 3 days. The Nice team trained in Toulon this Friday before leaving very early this morning for Paris. A rather light preparation for a match that promises to be very closely contested.
The championship is very tight, with only 3 points separating the 1st from the 8th, so every match is important to stay at the top of the standings…
