Imbroglio over the name “Rassemblement National”

Latest News

The new name of Marine Le Pen’s party does not seem to align with its meaning: “Rassemblement” (Assembly).

On the contrary, for now, it is a source of dispute regarding who the rightful owner is.

In fact, according to someone named Igor Kurnik, president of a micro-party that supposedly participated in the municipal elections in Vitrolles in 2014 and a cantonal election (canton 3 of Alpes-Maritimes) in the departmental elections in 2015, it is he, through an intermediary, who registered it with the INPI.

The name was indeed registered on December 30, 2013, under the name of a certain Frรฉdรฉrick Bigrat, whom Igor Kurek presents as his deputy at the time, and who, after their break, “would have transferred” the name to the FN.

At the very least, the story is murky, and it is hard to understand how a party with aspirations of governing a major country like France could find itself entangled in such a story with dubious characters.

A story so absurd that legal action is being contemplated to restore the rights of the “true” owner.

Quite laughable!!!
