The Nice Cรดte d’Azur Metropolis is organizing a morning dedicated to best professional practices on Tuesday, June 17, as part of the Week for Quality of Life and Working Conditions. This event is built in partnership with the Cรดte d’Azur University, MITWIT, and local businesses.
On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, the Nice Cรดte d’Azur Metropolis is offering a meeting on quality of life at work (QLW). The event will take place at MITWIT, 21 Avenue Thiers in Nice. It is part of the national week organized by the Agency for the Improvement of Working Conditions (ANACT) from June 16 to 20.
The stated goal: to open the dialogue between institutions, researchers, employers, and professionals on what makes work more sustainable, more stable, and more motivating. The morning will begin with speeches by Magali Altounian, a metropolitan and regional councilor, and Fabienne dโArriep-Longueville, vice-president of the Cรดte d’Azur University in charge of human resources.
A round table entitled “At work, quality rhymes with attractiveness” will bring together three speakers. Thomas Collet, CEO of Connect Pro, will discuss the territorial responsibility of companies. Bernard Alfandari, CEO of Resistex, will reflect on the meaning given to work and on the commitment of a mission-driven company. Diane Jullien, HR Manager for the PACA region at FORVIS MAZARS, will address new strategies for talent retention.
A second phase will highlight several local initiatives. Christine Perrey will present the participatory approach conducted at the Cรดte d’Azur University. Laura Ellak, founder of IlyCoach, will discuss mental health and physical activity, a central theme this year. Cindy Berreby, from AFPJR, will talk about the inclusion of people with disabilities. Finally, Philippe Abou, CEO of My Talents, will speak about career paths and the recognition of skills.
Mental Health at the Center of Debates
This morning event in Nice is part of a national awareness movement. ANACT is offering over fifty events to promote dialogue within companies. They are intended for HR managers, staff representatives, safety officers, managers, or business leaders.
According to an Opinion Way survey conducted in 2022, 88% of employees believe that meaningful work should allow for self-expression and idea generation. Collaborative practices would also contribute to improving the economic performance of organizations.
During this week, mental health is also at the heart of the discussions. A toolbox is available online for workplace actors. Two webinars, organized with INRS, Health Insurance, the Ministry of Labor, and AGEFIPH, will focus on the prevention of psychosocial risks and the retention of affected employees.
By emphasizing exchange and feedback, the event on June 17 aims to create a space for collective reflection. Admission is free, with registration.
