The 43rd edition of the national event will have free entry and will be open from 3 PM to midnight on Saturday, from 10 AM to midnight on Sunday, and from 5 PM to midnight on weekdays. On the 20,000 square meters of the exhibition area set up in Piazza dโArmi, the 700 stands will offer innovative solutions for the home, office, and leisure.
The fair spans five thematic pavilions, four of which are fully covered: Tekno (local innovation projects for civil and industrial buildings, energy savings, and general services), Arredo (the best proposals for interior and exterior), Complemento (home accessories, lighting, curtains, sports and leisure, wellness and personal care products), Piazza del Gusto (a showcase of local gastronomy and excellent wines from different regions of Italy, where you can taste and buy quality products, each one unique) and the outdoor space Expomotor & Outdoor (machinery and equipment, industrial vehicles, cars, motorcycles, prefabricated structures, urban and garden furniture).
Among the new features of the 2018 edition is the “Parco dei Golosi” located in the outdoor area, near the playground for children. It will offer a varied and completely renewed gastronomic selection compared to the past, with culinary options to suit all tastes and needs: from takeaway food to quality street food to more refined dishes for a dinner with friends or a Sunday family lunch in GFE. The space traditionally dedicated to local gastronomic products, but also from other Italian regions, has been moved indoors this year and expanded compared to 2017, turning what was the “Piazzetta del Gusto” into a true “Piazza del Gusto.”
Also planned is a free evening events program during the two weekends of the event. Each evening, there will be a cabaret of emerging artists from “Il Teatro del Poi,” during the first weekend (June 0-10) a Lego exhibition with the possibility to assemble and disassemble the colorful bricks, and the second weekend (June 17) the performance of the “Magicien Budini.” At the entrance of the exhibition pavilions, for the first time, will be the “WeddinGranda Project”: 10 wedding professionals assisting future brides and grooms in choosing outfits, makeup, photos, wedding banquets, travel, etc. Thematic conferences will also be featured (such as the seminar dedicated to the presentation of an innovative multi-story wooden building made in Langhe) along with demonstrations of innovative products and cooking shows.
