For its IVth Edition, Museaav continues the International Womenโs Day from last March 8 by organizing a series of events around this theme.
The aim is to honor Women Artists, acknowledging that their creative work is still underrepresented in museums. Throughout the 20th century, with its social, cultural, and intellectual revolutions, they were able to explore all aesthetic fields to assert a production not confined to a specific genre but blending with the universal. They have simply become artists.
From Thursday, March 15 (Opening with a collective exhibition vernissage) to Friday, March 30 (Closing with a live art performance), Museaav will showcase paintings, photographs, performances, and workshops created by Women Artists.
Thursday, March 15 at 6:30 PM: Opening of the Womenโs Celebration with the Vernissage featuring paintings by Eve Carton, photographs by Maryline MโGaides, and calligraphy paintings by Martine Thibaud.
7:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Live calligraphy by Martine Thibaud.
8:15 PM: Performance by Sophie Taam with video projection.
