Christian ESTROSI highlighted that for too many years, Nice had suffered from a deplorable image linked to a proliferation of affairs. “Public procurement should not be subject to political debate, much less confrontation,” Christian ESTROSI reminded, who has made transparency and integrity the primary goal of his term.

Madame Mari-Luz Hernandez-Nicaise, from the “changing era” group, was therefore appointed by the mayor as the president of the tendering committee, one of the most significant in France. She stated, “I see the role of the tendering committee as a lookout. I will work in the service of the city’s integrity.”

Thus, Nice is the first major city in France to entrust the opposition with the presidency of a tendering committee.

In the same spirit of openness, Christian ESTROSI has, for the first time, opened the possibility for the opposition to sit on the CANCA. Five elected members from the “changing era” list were thus elected alongside the 30 majority members within the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Community.
