Latest News

Friday, February 25 marks the 11th edition of the โ€œOrientation Night.โ€ After two years of complications, this event returns in person to better support students.

20 booths, over 200 professions, 18 sectors represented (Security/safety, sports, construction, tourism, industry, healthcare, etc.). The evening organized by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry is scheduled for the end of February, from 5 PM to 10 PM at the Consular Palace in Nice. Due to the global pandemic, the organizers of the โ€œOrientation Nightโ€ have had to adapt to the health protocol: those under the age of 16 must have a health pass, and from the age of 16, a vaccination pass will be required. Masks will obviously be mandatory, and distancing must be observed during interactions.

A new feature this year is that students, high school and middle school students involved in this event can prepare a career interest test on โ€œInforizon.โ€ Students can already take these tests. They are available until April 29 and are free. The code to take the test is HQDJ6N3P. Computers will also be available during this evening to take these tests. The objective for students is to better understand themselves, identify their positions to project themselves into one or more careers.

The โ€œOrientation Nightโ€ program includes 4 areas:
Advice and coaching: you can engage individually with career guidance professionals to conduct a preliminary assessment and provide advice to youths. Activities are also available on various themes (Confidence, self-knowledge).
Speed dating: 20 booths, over 200 professions represented. Professionals will discuss their careers, share their passions, and their jobs.
Information/documentation: in association with ONISEP, the consulars, and CAP emploi, various topics will be addressed, such as professions and education, the world of work for a person with a disability, and learning topics.

3 conferences are also planned:
Everything you need to know about apprenticeships. 6:00 PM and 8:15 PM
Discover Parcoursup. 6:45 PM and 9:00 PM
