The General Council of Alpes-Maritimes is the primary cultural player in our region, with its action based on a true celebration of art throughout the summer: culture will shine everywhere, for everyone, and in all its forms.
The highlight event is the “Festival of Tales and Words” scheduled from July 12 to August 2, featuring Emmanuelle Bรฉart, Patrick Timsit, Frรฉdรฉric Diefenthal, Irรจne Jacob & Jรฉrome Kircher, Christophe Malavoy, Clรฉmentine Cรฉlariรฉ, Fanny Cottenรงon.
As part of the Centenary, two evenings will be dedicated to the Great War.
The must-attend event is the Summer Evenings.
For this 19th edition, 415 shows will be performed by 1,053 artists across 150 towns.
Each year, the program showcases the artists of the Alpes-Maritimes: classical music, jazz, traditional or contemporary music, theater, dance, music hall, storytelling; eclecticism and diversity are the key words, catering to all tastes.
