Pôle emploi counts some 3.1 million French people registered in category A

In the second quarter of 2022, according to Dares figures published this Wednesday, the number of job seekers decreased by 0.8%, which means 26,900 fewer individuals, compared to the first three months of the year 2022.

Over a year, despite this slowdown, the trend remains positive, with a decrease of 15.1%, bringing the total number down to its lowest level in ten years.

These figures indicate a certain resilience of the French economy despite the negative impacts of the war in Ukraine.
