The Ariane district benefits from an ambitious urban redevelopment project, in partnership with the National Urban Renewal Agency (ANRU).
Its 12,000 inhabitants (of which 34% are young people under 19) will see their living environment change profoundly.
The Ariane Project House opened in 2006. It brings together several local services, available to the population (residents, building caretakers, neighborhood associations, shopkeepers, etc.). It is a place for information, activities, and integration, aimed at enabling residents to comfortably evolve in their rapidly changing neighborhood. After several months of work, the Project House now offers, in a 120m² space, new public services:
– Insertion and Employment Space: PLIE (Local Plan for Insertion and Employment of NCA), community youth mission “Objective Youth NCA,” the youth reception and listening point in the city of Nice “L’Escale”;
– Project House Space: Nice Côte d’Azur directions for urban renewal, city policy, and social cohesion (urban contract, Ariane free zone).
Thus, a real synergy is created between the different partners working in the district.
