About the Car Rental Center:
The Car Rental Center at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport will host vehicles and the 5 agencies on the platform. It provides, in an optimized space of 60,000 m2 spread over 3 levels, to meet the needs related to the growing activity of car rental companies at the Nice Côte d’Azur Airport.
Today, this platform is the second in France in terms of revenue in the car rental market and handles 330,000 contracts per year (2010).
This building is the first of its kind in France to be financed, designed, constructed, and managed under a concession.
The contract takes the form of a temporary occupation authorization (AOT) of public property with real rights, for a duration of 32 years, granted by Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur to the company Park Azur, a subsidiary of VINCI Concessions.
The works are carried out by a group consisting of local subsidiaries of VINCI Construction France.
The architects of the project are Georges Dikansky and Frédéric Génin.
The total cost of the work is 49 million euros.
This project illustrates the synergy of expertise within the VINCI group in structuring concession projects and airport development for VINCI Airports, the leading industrial private partner of French airports, combined with the strong presence of VINCI Construction France in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
