This Thursday at 5 PM, the commemorative sculpture “Le Ray” by artist Antoine Graff will be inaugurated by the Mayor of Nice and Virginie Rossetti (OGCN) in the presence of the artist.
This monumental 5-meter sculpture, made of fiberglass, perpetuates the memory of the Ray site, dear to the people of Nice, through its red and black colors—a true nod to the red and black seats of the old Ray stadium, reclaimed for the occasion.
This work of art draws a parallel between the old and new sports facilities, perpetuating the values of Niçoise culture and celebrating the history and values of Niçoise football.
