The Municipal Council on October 17, 2019, unanimously voted to rename “rue de la Cité du Parc” as “Cours Jacques Chirac” in order to pay tribute to the former President of the Republic.
Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, will inaugurate this redeveloped area at 10:30 AM in the presence of Claude Chirac. Together, they will unveil the statue bearing the likeness of the former President of the Republic.
