The Vélobleu has been an integral part of the lives of the Azuréens for almost two years now!
With an average of 1,411 rentals per day, this popular success is the result of a strong desire to develop the use of bicycles as an alternative mode of transportation to cars in the city.
This success has been made possible by strengthening the Vélobleu system and establishing a dense, continuous, and secure cycling network.
Indeed, Nice Côte d’Azur has implemented 55 additional stations to reinforce the Vélobleu system, which now extends from the port of Nice to the Cagnes-sur-Mer racetrack, passing through Saint-Laurent-du-Var.
These 55 stations are added to the existing 120 stations, offering users a total of 175 stations equipped with 1,750 bicycles and 3,100 docking points, supporting a gentle and environmentally friendly mode of transportation.
