A week after the storms caused by the passage of storm “Alex,” the focus is on securing and rebuilding the territory. Here is a numerical recap of the natural disaster’s impact.

– 6 people have been found deceased
– 6 people are still missing and 13 others presumed missing
– 1,200 rescuers deployed on the ground, including 650 firefighters and 280 police officers and military personnel
– 15 helicopters in the area
– 240 agents engaged in assisting disaster victims
– 55 municipalities declared in a state of natural disaster
– 15,000 households without electricity
– 60% of the residents in Haut Pays had no access to water
– 2,000 buildings to be assessed (including 550 in Tende, 500 in Breil-sur-Roya and Saint-Martin-Vésubie)
– Over 270 tonnes of goods and water delivered to the valleys by the Metropolis
